Physiotherapy After Surgery

I can help you recover following knee, hip, shoulder, muscle, or joint related surgery. I will use a combination of rehabilitation exercises and hands on treatments to get you back to your best.

What can you expect at your initial assessment:

  • All initial assessments and treatment are 45 minutes..
  • This includes a thorough assessment where we discuss your problem and then I assess your movement, strength, and special tests.
  • Formulate a treatment plan that’s bespoke to your needs.
  • An exercise and rehabilitation programme tailored to your specific needs.
  • Using hands on treatments such as acupuncture, massage, spinal manipulations, and soft tissue therapy.

Questions asked by our patients

What if I need to cancel an appointment?
ios-plus-empty@2x

I ask if you need to change or cancel your appointment that you give 24hrs notice. If you cannot let me know of any changes before then, you will be charged for the appointment in full.

This will depend on your specific circumstances and treatment plan. Sometimes only the initial assessment and treatment with self-management strategies is all that is required, other times such as with acupuncture or massage a course of treatment is needed.
